Cutz By AMP wants everybody to be able to use this website and to get a haircut here. This statement explains what we have done, what we are still working on, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is not a one-time job, so we treat this as ongoing work rather than a finished box to tick.
What this site does
- Semantic headings and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images.
- Text and background colors chosen for contrast against the dark theme.
- Keyboard access to links, buttons, the service search, and the category filters.
- Layout that reflows to any screen size and supports browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Videos that do not autoplay with sound, and that only load when you choose to play them.
- Motion and animation reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
We want to be straight with you rather than claim perfection:
- Our haircut videos are visual demonstrations with no speech, and do not currently have captions or audio description.
- Online booking is provided by GlossGenius, a third-party platform. We do not control its code and cannot guarantee its accessibility. If the booking platform does not work for you, call us at (561) 323-8145 and we will book your appointment over the phone.
- Some photographs are of the shop and of work in progress; where an image is decorative it is intentionally hidden from screen readers.
In the shop
The shop is a suite inside a multi-tenant building on Northlake Boulevard. If you have a mobility, sensory, or other access need, please call ahead and we will do our best to accommodate you, including help getting settled in the chair and a quieter time slot where the schedule allows.
